Heavy duty mounting brackets that bolt directly to the
frame replace the cheesy and useless factory bumper
mounts.
The Wincher for the Toyota Tundra & Sequoia
The bumper is formed from 3/16" A36 steel with 1/4" mounting brackets
and winch mount. Mounting brackets are a substantial upgrade over the
factory bumper mount (see picture below).
The bumper is available with a receiver hitch in place of the winch bumper
or as a bumper only which eliminates the lower cable slot but not the air
holes in the bumper.
Optional grill guard, light guards, tow points, lighting, and finishes allow
you to completely customize the bumper to achieve the look you want.
This particular truck is equipped with a plate style grill guard, light guards,
light bar, and shackle mounts. The finish is a custom colour to match the
soft top bed cover. Check our anatomy page for information on some of
the options available: Anatomy of a Wincher
As you can see from the pictures the approach angles and wheel
clearance are substantially improved without leaving exposed sheet metal
or an awkward look while the profile matched to the truck accentuates the
lines of the factory front end.
The factory skid plate may be retained or replaced with our optional skid
plate that extends to the bottom of the bumper.

Shown here with full height grill and light guards, tube style. The wings of the bumper are equipped with two sets of PIAA 510 series lights (4" diameter).

This is the first 2007 Tundra Wincher, the prototype. Its equipped with the horizontal 3 tab light bar and a shorter grill guard piece to protect
the lights (as also shown to left. This model was fitted with Hella 500s in the wings. We felt the size of this light (6-3/8" diameter) took too much
steel from the wing, so this option is not available. Other items: winch mount style, shackle mounts, shackles.
Good view of the replacement
skid plate in aluminum. It provides
additional clearance compared to
the factory skid plate and
continues up to the underneath of
the bumper.
For unknown reasons, this
customer installed plates blocking
the air holes in the face and
underneath area of the bumper.
3.5" and 5" light holes, receiver style, D rings, satin black finish.
